New study tests drug combo to improve miscarriage management

NCT ID NCT07160855

Summary

This study is testing whether adding the medication letrozole to standard misoprostol treatment helps women have a more complete abortion when experiencing an early missed miscarriage. Researchers will compare 92 women who receive either the combination treatment or misoprostol alone to see which approach works better. The goal is to reduce the need for additional surgical procedures after medication treatment.
