Could a breast cancer pill keep ovarian cancer at bay?

Summary
This large Phase 3 trial is testing whether adding the drug letrozole to standard maintenance therapy helps prevent ovarian cancer from coming back. It will involve 540 women with ER-positive ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer who have completed initial surgery and chemotherapy. Half will receive letrozole pills, and half will receive placebo pills, for up to five years, to see which group stays cancer-free longer.
