Cancer surgeons test if less cutting leads to better recovery
NCT ID NCT07369882
Summary
This study is for people with advanced head and neck cancer who have already had drug treatment that shrunk their tumor. It aims to see if a less extensive surgery can work as well as the standard, more invasive surgery. Researchers will compare two groups: one gets the smaller surgery, and the other gets the standard surgery. The main goals are to see if survival is similar and if the smaller surgery improves patients' quality of life and function after the operation.
