Gentler surgery trial offers hope for stomach cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07295002
Summary
This study is testing a less invasive surgical procedure for patients with early stomach cancer who need additional treatment after an initial endoscopic removal. The goal is to see if using a special dye to guide lymph node removal, sometimes combined with a small-scope stomach resection, can effectively control the cancer while causing fewer complications than traditional major surgery. The trial will enroll 10 patients to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of this approach.
