New, gentler surgery could spare stomach cancer patients from major operations

Summary
This study tests a less invasive surgery for people with early stomach cancer whose first treatment (endoscopic removal) wasn't fully successful. Instead of a large operation, doctors will use a dye to find and remove only the affected lymph nodes, sometimes also removing a small part of the stomach. The goal is to control the cancer with fewer side effects. About 10 adults will take part.
