Smaller cut, bigger hope? study seeks to predict best sperm surgery
NCT ID NCT07286279
Summary
This study looked back at past surgeries to see if doctors can predict which men with very low or no sperm might benefit from a less invasive surgical approach. Researchers analyzed data from 248 men to see if factors like hormone levels could identify those who only needed a small 'mini-incision' to find sperm, rather than a larger surgery. The goal is to help doctors better plan surgery and counsel patients before their procedure.
