Do stents hold up? 5-Year leg artery study launches
NCT ID NCT07338890
Summary
This study aims to collect long-term safety and performance data on three already-approved SMART stent devices used to treat blocked arteries in the legs and pelvis. Researchers will look back at the medical records of about 240 patients across Europe who received these stents up to five years ago. The main goals are to see how well the stents kept arteries open and to track serious complications, including the need for leg amputation.
