First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested a special stent (BiOSS LIM C) for people with a severe blockage in the left main coronary artery, a critical heart vessel. The trial enrolled 130 participants and compared the stent to a performance goal based on standard stents. The study was terminated early because the new stent did not prove to be as safe or effective as the standard treatment.
