First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether leflunomide, a drug already used for arthritis, could shrink or stabilize tumors in people with MEN1, a genetic condition that causes multiple tumors. Only 3 adults with a MEN1 gene mutation and at least one tumor joined before the trial was stopped early. The goal was to see if 6 months of daily leflunomide could control tumor growth.
