Home light therapy tested for psoriasis relief

NCT ID NCT03507946

Summary

This study aimed to test if a specific combination of colored LED lights could safely reduce the redness, thickness, and scaling of mild to moderate plaque psoriasis. It planned to enroll 25 healthy adults to use a home device on one skin patch for 15 minutes, five times a week, for 12 weeks, while leaving another similar patch untreated for comparison. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
