Summary
This study collected real-world data on a procedure to remove old wires from heart pacemakers and defibrillators. Researchers followed 702 patients who had the procedure, comparing outcomes between those with device-related infections and those without. The goal was to understand how safe and effective the removal process is and identify which patients might be at higher risk for complications.
