Could lead in your bones affect your mental health treatment?

NCT ID NCT05887934

Summary

This study aims to understand if past lead exposure stored in bones makes mental illness more severe or affects how well brain stimulation treatments work. Researchers will measure bone-lead levels and track symptoms in 500 patients already enrolled in other mental health treatment studies. The goal is to gather information to guide future research on this potential risk factor.
