New schizophrenia drug shows promise in large trial

Summary
This study tests a new medication, LB 102, to see if it can reduce symptoms of schizophrenia in adults experiencing a sudden worsening of their condition. About 456 participants will receive either LB 102 or a placebo for 6 weeks. The goal is to measure changes in symptom severity using a standard rating scale.
