Calming scents for scared kids: can lavender and rosemary make dental visits easier?
NCT ID NCT07352397
Summary
This study is testing whether simply smelling lavender oil, rosemary oil, or a mix of both can help children feel less anxious and experience less pain when getting a numbing shot for a tooth extraction. Researchers will compare these scents to see which, if any, helps kids stay calmer and more comfortable during the procedure. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to make dental visits less stressful for young patients.
