Can a daily dose of laughter heal trauma? study prescribes giggles for earthquake survivors
NCT ID NCT07157176
Summary
This study tested whether a simple 'laughter prescription' could help nursing students who lived through a major earthquake. Researchers had one group laugh for 3 minutes a day for a week, while another group did not. They measured changes in the students' well-being, happiness, and symptoms of post-traumatic stress to see if laughter made a positive difference.
