Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called LAU-7b to see if it could help hospitalized adults with COVID-19. The goal was to prevent patients' conditions from worsening to the point of needing a ventilator or leading to death. The trial compared LAU-7b plus standard care against a placebo plus standard care in over 350 participants.
