Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called LAU-7b in adults hospitalized with COVID-19 who had higher risk of complications. The goal was to see if the drug could prevent respiratory failure or the need for a breathing machine. The trial was stopped early, and the results did not show a clear benefit over placebo.
