Could an eye drop ingredient help women regrow hair?

NCT ID NCT07412587

Summary

This small, completed pilot study tested whether a cosmetic product containing latanoprost acid could improve hair growth in women with female pattern hair loss or chronic shedding. Twenty-nine women aged 18-60 applied one of three strengths of the product or a placebo to their scalp daily for six months. Researchers measured changes in hair count, thickness, and patient satisfaction to see if the treatment was safe and effective.
