Scientists scan wounds with light to test healing laser

NCT ID NCT07177274

Summary

This study aims to understand how a low-level red laser affects the stiffness of healing skin in chronic or burn wounds. Researchers will use two painless scanning devices to measure the skin's firmness before and after laser treatment in 20 participants. The goal is to gather objective data on whether the laser improves the wound's physical properties, not to test a new cure.
