Light vs. sound: which eases jaw pain better?
NCT ID NCT07378462
Summary
This study compared two common physical therapies for jaw pain and dysfunction, known as temporomandibular disorders (TMD). It involved 46 patients who received either low-level laser therapy or ultrasound therapy over two weeks. The goal was to see which treatment was better at reducing pain and improving how wide patients could open their mouths.
