New laser treatment for enlarged prostate put to the test

Summary
This study compares a new, less invasive laser treatment (TPLA) to standard surgery (TURP) for men with urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate. The goal is to see if the laser works just as well at relieving symptoms. About 80 men with moderate to severe symptoms and a prostate between 40-80ml will take part.
