Dental laser tested to save more tooth in deep cavities
NCT ID NCT07358442
Summary
This study is testing if using a special laser before placing a tooth-filling material works better than using the material alone for deep cavities. It involves 48 adults with a single deep cavity in a back tooth. Researchers will check if the laser helps preserve more healthy tooth structure and causes less discoloration over 6 months.
