Summary

This study tested two non-invasive treatments to reduce muscle stiffness in the legs of people who have had a stroke. Thirty-nine participants received either high-intensity laser therapy or shockwave therapy on their calf muscles. Researchers compared how well each treatment improved stiffness, walking ability, and balance.
