Laser light tested to protect teeth during braces
NCT ID NCT07320352
Summary
This study looked at whether using a hard laser during orthodontic treatment helps protect the jawbone and tooth roots. It compared two groups of patients getting braces to correct protruding teeth. The goal was to see if the laser could reduce bone thinning and root damage that sometimes happens when teeth are moved.
