Laser light showdown: finding the best beam to beat bulging veins
NCT ID NCT07449728
Summary
This study is testing two different colors (wavelengths) of laser light used in a common varicose vein surgery. The goal is to see if one color is better at sealing the problem vein more completely to prevent it from reopening, while also causing less pain and fewer blood clots. Researchers will enroll 400 adults with varicose veins to compare the outcomes of the two laser techniques.
