Laser zaps lens to restore reading vision
NCT ID NCT07384182
Summary
This study tested a laser procedure to improve near vision in people who had previously received standard monofocal lens implants during cataract surgery. The goal was to see if a quick, low-energy laser treatment could adjust the implanted lens to help patients see up close again, without harming their distance vision. Researchers followed 19 patients for 90 days after the procedure to check their vision and safety.
