Laser eye treatment trial aims to reduce glaucoma medication use

NCT ID NCT07401290

Summary

This study is testing a laser procedure called Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT) for people with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma. The goal is to see if the laser can safely lower eye pressure and potentially reduce the need for daily eye drop medications. Researchers will follow 40 participants for one year to measure how well the treatment works and how long the effects last.
