First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a laser treatment (Nd:YAG vitreolysis) for people bothered by eye floaters—specifically a type called Weiss ring. Seventy adults with floaters for at least a month were split into two groups: one got the laser right away, the other waited three months. Researchers compared how much symptoms improved and checked for side effects using eye exams and patient questionnaires.
