Laser fix for blurry vision after cataract surgery shows promise
NCT ID NCT07473557
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a low-energy laser to adjust an artificial lens already placed in the eye during cataract surgery. The goal was to correct leftover blurry vision without removing the lens. Twelve people who had a lens implant and still needed glasses for distance or astigmatism took part. The laser treatment aimed to reshape the lens to improve eyesight, and researchers checked vision and side effects over 90 days.
