First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special laser treatment helps gums heal faster and with less pain after a tooth is pulled, before a permanent denture is placed. Forty-five adults took part, and the researchers measured healing, wound size, and pain levels. The goal was to see if laser therapy improves recovery compared to a placebo treatment.
