Shine a light on healing: laser tested for faster recovery after tooth pull

NCT ID NCT07095556

Summary

This study is testing if a special low-level laser can help gums heal faster and with less pain after a tooth is pulled. Researchers will compare patients who get the laser treatment on days 1, 3, and 7 after their procedure to those who receive standard care. They will measure healing by checking saliva for inflammation markers, tracking wound size, and asking about pain levels.
