First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests if shining different colors of low-level laser light on the neck can ease cervicogenic headache, a headache that starts from neck issues. About 150 adults aged 18 to 65 with this headache for at least 3 months will receive one of three laser treatments plus standard physical therapy. Researchers will track pain, headache frequency, neck movement, and quality of life over 6 weeks, with follow-ups at 3 and 6 months, to find the most effective laser wavelength.
