Shining a light on hand pain: laser therapy trial for carpal tunnel
NCT ID NCT07414069
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive laser treatment can reduce pain and improve hand function for people with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers will compare a real high-intensity laser therapy to a fake (sham) treatment, with both groups also using a standard wrist splint. The goal is to see if the laser helps with pain, strength, and nerve function over three months.
