Laser light show for your teeth? trial tests faster braces

NCT ID NCT07442825

Summary

This study tested if a special low-level laser, used alongside a minor gum surgery, could safely make braces treatment faster. Researchers compared three groups of young adults getting braces: one got the surgery and laser, one got just the surgery, and one got standard braces. They wanted to see if the faster methods caused more tooth root shortening or harmed gum health.
