Laser light & tiny cuts: a new hope for faster, safer braces?

NCT ID NCT07442825

Summary

This study tested if using a special low-power laser along with a minor gum surgery could safely speed up orthodontic treatment for people with overbites. Researchers compared three groups: one got the surgery plus laser, one got just the surgery, and one got standard braces. They carefully measured if these faster methods caused more root shortening or gum problems compared to traditional treatment.
