Laser light speeds dental healing, cuts pain
NCT ID NCT07415434
Summary
This study tested whether a special low-level laser could help gums heal faster and with less pain after a tooth is pulled, before placing a dental bridge. Researchers compared the laser treatment to a placebo (fake laser) in 45 healthy adults needing this common dental procedure. They measured healing speed, pain levels, and a healing-related protein to see if the laser made a real difference.
