Laser battle for healthier gums
NCT ID NCT06509412
Summary
This study compared two types of laser treatments for moderate gum disease (periodontitis) to see which was better at controlling the condition. Thirty-three participants with specific gum problems received either a diode laser treatment, an Nd:YAG laser treatment, or conventional therapy. Researchers measured gum health, pocket depth, and levels of harmful bacteria to determine which approach worked best.
