Laser pointer aims to sharpen recovery after back surgery

NCT ID NCT07382830

Summary

This study is testing if adding a laser pointer for visual feedback during standard back exercises helps people recover better after a common back surgery called lumbar microdiscectomy. It will involve 42 adults who recently had this surgery. One group will do standard exercises, while the other will do the same exercises while using a laser pointer to guide their movements, aiming to improve pain, balance, and function.
