Shining a light on shoulder pain: laser therapy tested
NCT ID NCT07261449
Summary
This study tested whether low-intensity laser therapy could reduce pain and improve movement in people with chronic shoulder tendon problems. Forty participants with confirmed supraspinatus tendinopathy received either laser treatment or a sham (fake) treatment during physiotherapy sessions over three months. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, shoulder mobility, and quality of life to see if the laser provided meaningful relief.
