First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special laser (1726-nm) can safely reduce painful lumps and abscesses caused by hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a long-term skin condition. Thirty adults with mild-to-moderate HS will have one side of their body treated with the laser and the other side with a fake procedure to compare results. The goal is to see if the laser can improve symptoms without major side effects.
