Summary
This study tested a new type of laser to see if it works as well and is as safe as an already approved laser for fading facial freckles. Researchers treated one side of each participant's face with the new laser and the other side with the approved laser to compare the results. They checked how much the freckles faded and recorded any side effects over 8 weeks.
