Summary
This study tested a new laser device for removing freckles on the face. 84 Chinese adults with freckles on both cheeks received one treatment with the new laser on one side of their face and an approved laser on the other. After 8 weeks, doctors compared how much the freckles faded and checked for side effects. The goal was to see if the new laser works as well and is as safe as the approved one.
