Laser light zaps braces pain?
NCT ID NCT07456709
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle, low-power laser could reduce the pain people feel when they get spacers placed before braces. 31 adult patients had different sections of their mouth treated with either the laser (using different settings) or a fake placebo treatment. The goal was to see which laser method, if any, was best at easing pain over the first three days after the spacers were put in.
