New laser light could help doctors spot Kids' ear problems faster
NCT ID NCT07454512
Summary
This study is testing a new laser ear scope to see if it helps doctors detect fluid behind the eardrum in children more accurately than the standard white-light ear exam. It will involve 150 children who are already scheduled to have ear tube surgery. Doctors will compare the laser exam results with findings from the actual surgery to see which method is better at spotting the fluid.
