First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a special laser (810 nm diode) during a second root canal treatment can lower inflammation and pain. About 52 adults with a failed first root canal and a visible infection at the tooth tip will be treated. Researchers will measure pain levels and inflammatory markers in the tooth fluid to see if the laser helps healing.
