First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding botulinum toxin (Botox) to fractional CO2 laser treatment improves hypertrophic burn scars more than laser alone. 48 people with burn scars were treated, and researchers compared laser-only, laser plus Botox injections, and laser plus topical Botox. The goal was to see which approach reduced scar appearance and thickness best.
