Botox plus laser: a new shot at smoother scars?

NCT ID NCT07360483

Summary

This study tested whether adding botulinum toxin (Botox) to a standard laser treatment works better for improving raised burn scars. Researchers treated 48 people with scars and compared laser alone to laser combined with Botox, either injected or applied topically. The goal was to see which method most improved scar texture, color, and thickness over three months.
