Summary

This study tested whether adding laser acupuncture to standard COPD treatment improves lung function and quality of life. Forty adults with stable COPD received either real or sham laser acupuncture sessions. Researchers measured breathing tests and symptom questionnaires after 4 and 8 weeks to see if the laser treatment made a difference.
