Summary

This study tested whether adding laser acupuncture to standard COPD medication could help people breathe better and feel better. Forty participants with stable COPD received either real or fake (sham) laser treatments. Researchers measured lung function and quality of life over 8 weeks to see if the laser made a difference and checked for any side effects.
