First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study examines how often people who have a breathing tube (intubation) in the ICU for 1 to 7 days develop injury to their voice box (larynx). It also tests whether a combination of two medicines (azithromycin and budesonide) can help heal the injury and improve breathing. The study involves 64 adults and uses a camera to look at the voice box.
